Bridge augmentation is a rhinoplasty procedure used to increase or refine the height, shape, or contour of the nasal bridge. It may be considered when the bridge appears low, flat, uneven, or lacks definition in relation to the rest of the face.
Depending on the patient’s anatomy and goals, the procedure may use an implant, autologous tissue, or a combination of materials to create additional height and structural contour.
During consultation, the surgeon evaluates facial proportions, skin thickness, bridge width, nasal length, tip position, and existing nasal structure before recommending an appropriate approach.
